Amy Vasquez
Executive Vice President
Amy Vasquez is Executive Vice President of Strategic Staffing Solutions, Inc. (S3). In that role she is responsible for key sales initiatives and serves as point person for many of the firms branches.
Vasquez is an experienced Executive in the IT consulting and solutions industry with a track record of growing successful businesses via organic growth and acquisition integration. She has achieved these results based on her skills and expertise in leadership and talent management, strategic planning, execution of key initiatives, profit and loss management, go-to-market strategy development, acquisition integration, sales strategy development, executive level sales support and presentation skills.
Prior to joining S3, Vasquez was President of the IT Services Division of Management Decisions, Inc. in Atlanta from 2002 to 2007. Under her leadership the division nearly doubled its revenue while establishing a project services consulting practice and a managing vendor program.
Prior to joining MDI, Vasquez was National Vice President for Spherion Information Services in Atlanta, where she worked from 1998 to 2002 and was responsible for business development and management of the technology staffing division.
Prior to that, she was president of Carson Associates, an IT services firm, from 1989 to 1998. As president, she grew the company from $3 million to $20 million in revenue and prepared it for sale to Norrell Information Services in 1998, which became Spherion Information Services in 1999.
Vasquez has also served as President of the National Association of Computer Consulting Businesses (NAACB), as its Government Affairs Chair and as a board member.
She has completed course work for a Master of Arts Degree in Mass Communications at Temple University in Philadelphia and holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
