Cynthia J. Pasky is the founder, president and CEO of Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3), a Detroit-headquartered global IT and business services company. Pasky founded S3 in 1990 and has grown the company to 23 branch locations with more than 1,800 team members in the U.S. and Europe. S3 is in its 21st year of consecutive growth with 2010 revenues of $205 million.

S3 provides information technology consulting, customized solutions, vendor management programs, executive search services, call center technology, and IT and business development services to Fortune 500 companies in financial, energy, telecommunications, government, retail, and health care industries.

While leading a steadily expanding company, Pasky is actively involved in civic and community organizations, globally. She serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Detroit Downtown Partnership and co-chairs the urban strategies committee of Business Leaders for Michigan (formerly Detroit Renaissance) and is a member of its board of directors and executive committee.

Pasky is also a board member for the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan, Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, Detroit Youth Foundation, Foreign Investment Advisory and Supervision Council in Lithuania, the Parade Company, United Way of Southeastern Michigan and Your Child. She also serves on the Visitor's Board for the Kresge Eye Institute and is a past chair of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce and still serves as a member emeritus.

In addition to Pasky's board affiliations, she spearheaded 2-1-1 On the Go!, a homeless outreach program that employs two United Way caseworkers who use high-tech vehicles to assist Detroit's homeless. Since the program began in 2007, 2-1-1 On the Go! has helped hundreds of individuals access permanent housing and employment. S3 has raised more than $100,000 for 2-1-1 On the Go! through its Grand Prix Shakedown 8K foot race on Detroit's Belle Isle, now in its 18th year, and the Detroit Charity Golf Outing, celebrating its 10th year.

Pasky has been named a Most Powerful Woman in Business by Dbusiness Magazine, CEO of the Year by Automation Alley, one of 10 Most Intriguing People in Staffing by Staffing Industry Review, one of Detroit's Most Powerful People by Crain's Detroit Business and one of the Top Women Entrepreneurs in North America by Women Impacting Public Policy. She also has been inducted into the Michigan's Women's Hall of Fame and the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame and has been named a Michiganian of the Year by the Detroit News and a Women of Achievement and Courage by the Michigan Women's Foundation.
