S3 Embraces Diversity
As a global company S3 understands globalization offers many new opportunities and with those opportunities come new responsibilities. With that in mind we work together with our customers, consultants and S3 team to understand and accept diversity.
Diversity is what makes us individuals. It is more than differences in gender, age, language, culture, race, religion, geography, individual personalities or physical capabilities. It also is accepting diversity of thought and ideas. At S3 we believe understanding, accepting, respecting and celebrating those differences is our competitive advantage.
We have been recognized for that conviction and as a strong diversity company. We were named among the Top 25 woman-owned businesses in the nation by Women’s Enterprise USA Magazine and have been ranked as a Top Diversity-owned Business in Michigan by diversitybusiness.com. We are ranked sixth largest diversity staffing firm in the US by Staffing Industry Analysts.
S3 has also been recognized as a 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA), a Cool Place to Work by Crain’s Detroit Business and a Michigan Economic Bright Spot by Corp! Magazine.
We also put our money where our mouth is. As a woman-owned business enterprise (WBE), we are supportive of other diversity businesses. For example, in the last three years alone we have spent $58.7 million with diversity suppliers.
We believe each of us can make a difference by taking a leadership role in understanding and respecting one other. It is not enough to do the right thing. At S3 we know we must do the right thing right in everything we do.
