CEO, Gibbs S3
Farida Gibbs is no stranger to early morning meetings and hard work. She began preparing for them in her teens when she helped her dad run his Surrey news agency and work started at 4:00 am. That drive and her love of family prepared her well for her staffing career, which started in 2001 when she went to work for a staffing agency in the UK.
In 2005 Farida launched her own company and is now CEO of Gibbs S3, a globally certified woman-owned business enterprise and Europe’s fastest growing technology staffing and resource-project-solutions company. Her passion is to deliver and exceed expectations and provide a first-class experience for her customers. Farida and her team work closely with their customers to create solutions and work packages that solve their recruiting challenges. As a result of her leadership and commitment to her team and customers, Gibbs S3 posted sales revenues of $30 million in the UK after just three years in business.
Gibbs S3 and Strategic Staffing Solutions formed a partnership in 2009 and Farida assumed responsibility for the companies’ UK operations.
Farida’s ability to balance her duties as CEO and as a mother led her to be a role model for young women.
