Mark Skidmore is a highly motivated, enthusiastic, competitive and creative manager who is dedicated to supporting his team members to succeed and achieve the highest results. Mark’s leadership has resulted in more club performers earning club level than any other manager and his Charlotte Branch has earned club a record four times.
As Vice President, Mark is a member of the S3 management team and is responsible for providing strategic planning, business development, and direction for the Charlotte branch. He also sets the overall direction for S3’s business in the Carolinas. Additionally, Mark provides direction to the other S3 branch managers and has responsibility for overseeing the Phoenix location.
As a national account manager he also has direct involvement with one of S3’s largest financial services customers and oversees all aspects of the account.
Mark has been with S3 for 13 years and has 17 years of direct industry experience. He joined S3 as the Charlotte branch manager and since successfully opened and grew the Richmond, New York and Houston branches.
Additionally, Mark has supported the Global Recruiting Team and was most recently the project lead on a managed vendor services plan that supported a major project for a large financial services customer.
Community involvement is a staple as an employee of S3 and during his 13 years at S3 Mark has been involved in several organizations.
He spent several years serving on the Charlotte Mecklenburg Public School Systems SLT (School Leadership Team) as a member, co-chair and chair. The committee focuses on items that directly affect the school and works with teachers, principal and a small group of parents to tackle the tough issues that a PTA cannot take on. Additionally, he spent 5 years as a member of the Arts & Sciences Council serving on the North Board where he was a panel member for grants and served the northeast community as it related to the arts.
He currently serves on the board of directors with the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, which is a key driver to serve both the business and local community.
Mark earned two bachelor degrees from Appalachian State University one in business management and the second in real estate and urban analysis and has a minor in marketing.
