Meet Veronica (Vee) Polite: Vice President, Solutions Practice

Relationship keeper, solutions expert, gourmet chef

As S3’s Vice President of Solutions, Vee Polite stewards partnerships with our Customers to ensure un-paralleled solutions delivery, stating, “We know our industry and we know our Customers’ needs. We have the depth required to work hand-in-hand with them to make sure their project exceeds their expectations, and is delivered on time and within budget.”

Joining the S3 family in 2013, her attention to delivery and relationship building served Vee well in her earlier role at S3 as an engagement manager, again fostering deep trust with our Customers. Indeed, Vee’s painstaking attention to detail and organizational abilities helped to grow S3’s Statement of Work line of business by 30 percent in 2017.

With early aspirations toward engineering, Vee’s IT career spans decades as she began as a data entry professional at a bank. As the information technology industry grew, so did Vee’s career. She took a coding class and wrote code for some time before progressing into administration, project management, and finally leadership.

Like all of S3’s leadership, Vee shares a deep commitment to the community. She serves as a “distinguished clown” in America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, held annually for nearly 100 years in downtown Detroit. She also serves on the board of the Greening of Detroit, a non-profit organization dedicated to involving Detroiters in community engagement, developing green spaces, education and workforce development. Finally, Vee sits on the board of Detroit Cristo Rey High School, which provides a college-preparatory Catholic high school education to students from economically disadvantaged families in Detroit.

In her downtime, Vee enjoys cooking for family and friends, and knitting. She and her husband have five children and nine grandchildren, most of whom live nearby.
