Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 7+ years of Java development experience
• 4+ years of hands on experience in Google Cloud technologies like Dataflow, Pubsub, BigQuery, and GCS.
• 4+ years of experience creating data pipeline solutions in Google Cloud.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or Related field
• Design, develop and maintain high-performance Java based applications
• Experience in Java Application Development, Multi-threading, Spring, SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Java (Java 8 or later) Spring framework and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture and cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Gradle, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to Kafka/Google Pubsub for real time data processing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, secure data pipelines from on-premise systems of record to Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Composer).
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
• Develop transformation libraries in Python/Beam (e.g., common SCD patterns, data quality checks, masking/tokenization routines).
• Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams, and code comments
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support ongoing data management efforts for Development, QA and Production environments
• Leverage knowledge of industry trends to build best in class technology to provide competitive advantage.
