Position Summary

Seeking a Junior Instructional Designer responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and revising learning solutions that support Claims employees across Auto, Property, Injury, and Care Center operations.

This position focuses on creating engaging, interactive, and performance-based learning experiences while ensuring curriculum accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business processes.

The Instructional Designer will primarily manage revisions to existing training content, develop highly technical claims training materials, and coordinate curriculum updates from intake through publishing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and revise instructional content for Claims employees.
• Create instructor-led, virtual, self-paced digital learning, simulations, scenario-based learning, and performance support materials.
• Develop interactive training content using Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise.
• Use Adobe products and multimedia tools to create engaging digital learning experiences.
• Manage curriculum revisions from intake through publishing.
• Prioritize assignments according to Service Level Objectives (SLOs), business needs, and organizational priorities.
• Track assignments, document progress, and maintain next steps using project management software (JWM).
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure training accuracy and effectiveness.
• Conduct assessments and analysis to identify development needs and recommend appropriate training methods.
• Develop and update course content and coordinate learning curriculum.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate project progress.
• Ensure training materials align with business processes and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with instructional design strategies.
• At least 1 year of experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• At least 1 year of project management experience.
• Knowledge of Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise.
• Knowledge of Adobe products, including Premiere, Audition, and Photoshop.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and project management software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking questions when clarification is needed.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Stable internet connection and availability to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
