  • Evaluate bodily injury and physical/property damage claims.
  • Review medical records, demand packages, vehicle damage documentation, estimates, and other supporting evidence.
  • Negotiate appropriate claim settlements with insureds, claimants, attorneys, repair facilities, and other involved parties.
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs and work with auto damage estimators and repair facilities throughout the claims process.
  • Review property damage matters requiring additional settlement authority or escalation.
  • Handle complex claims involving high limits, disputed liability, attorney representation, litigation, and/or commercial auto exposures.
  • Maintain accurate claim files, reserves, documentation, regulatory compliance, and timely follow-up.
  • Effectively manage a high-volume Auto Claims inventory while maintaining strong quality and customer-service standards.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on Auto Claims adjusting experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience personally making auto liability determinations.

  • Experience handling complex or disputed liability claims.
  • Experience with high-limit Auto Claims, Commercial Auto Claims, attorney-represented claims, litigation, comparative negligence, and/or total loss claims is highly valued.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage a high-volume claims environment.

Auto Claims & Estimating Systems

Experience with insurance claims management and auto estimating tools is valuable, including: CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex/Solera, Guidewire ClaimCenter, ISO ClaimSearch, carrier-specific claims platforms, or comparable Auto Claims and estimating systems.

Adjuster License Requirements

Candidates with a current or previously held insurance adjuster license may be considered, including active, inactive, or lapsed licenses. Please include your NIPR Producer Database (PDB) / License Information Report showing all active or previously held licenses and licensed states.

Make Sure Your Resume Shows This Experience

To help us accurately evaluate your background, your resume should clearly identify your hands-on experience with:

  • Auto liability determinations and comparative negligence
  • Coverage analysis and policy limits
  • Physical/property damage claims
  • First-party and third-party Auto Claims
  • Bodily injury claims
  • Settlement evaluation and negotiation

The strongest candidates will have resumes that clearly demonstrate experience across liability determinations, coverage/policy limits, and physical/property damage rather than listing only general Auto Claims responsibilities.
