Senior OT Data Engineer

The OT Data team is scaling its platform to deliver reusable operational data products, improve service reliability, modernize core capabilities, and enable future AI and industrial digital solutions. Current priorities include expanding reusable integration patterns, improving operational visibility, advancing OT Data products, and supporting the first PCN Operational Data Product roadmap.

We are seeking a Senior OT Data Engineer to serve as a technical leader responsible for translating architecture into scalable solutions, accelerating platform delivery, establishing engineering best practices, and mentoring the broader team. This role will help transform OT Data from a collection of services into a reusable and scalable industrial data platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement scalable industrial data solutions and reusable platform capabilities.
2. Establish engineering standards, development patterns, and technical best practices.
3. Lead the modernization of core OT Data services and supporting infrastructure.
4. Improve reliability, observability, monitoring, and operational readiness across the platform.
5. Develop reusable integration frameworks and accelerators that reduce delivery effort for future projects.
6. Support delivery of OT Data products and future industrial data capabilities.
7. Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives.
8. Partner closely with architecture, product, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Desired Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Industrial Data Systems, or Data Platform development.
• Strong experience building scalable cloud-based data solutions.
• Hands-on experience with streaming, integration, data pipelines, automation, and platform engineering.
• Experience working in Operational Technology (OT), IIoT, manufacturing, energy, industrial operations, or related environments is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technically complex initiatives.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence.
