Location: San Antonio, TX – Onsite

Duration: 18 Months

Pay Rate: 
$35 - $45/HR (W2 Only)

Job/Role Description:

  • This role will bridge data, strategy, user experience, and visual storytelling to support informed business decision-making.

  • Transform complex data, research findings, and business information into clear, executive-ready insights and compelling visual narratives.

  • Design polished executive-level presentations that translate analytics, user insights, and strategic information into actionable recommendations.

  • Create and develop visual concepts, layouts, wireframes, and presentation materials using Figma and Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Use Figma to create, refine, and collaborate on UX/UI designs, visual concepts, prototypes, and other presentation-ready assets.

  • Organize, maintain, and collaborate on content, documents, and project materials within SharePoint.

  • Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and other designers to understand requirements and translate complex information into clear visual solutions.

  • Apply UX and visual design principles to improve the clarity, usability, consistency, and effectiveness of presentations and other business deliverables.

  • Develop data-driven visualizations and narratives that communicate key trends, findings, and recommendations to executive audiences.

  • Translate technical or analytical information into concise, easily understood content for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into designs and presentations while maintaining consistency with established standards and business objectives.

  • Work independently to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality work within aggressive deadlines.

  • Support rapid-turnaround requests while maintaining strong attention to detail, accuracy, and visual quality.

  • Navigate challenging situations professionally and receive and incorporate candid feedback constructively.

  • Collaborate effectively across teams while managing changing priorities and time-sensitive requests.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, visual design, presentation design, data visualization, user experience, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience translating complex data, research, or business information into clear visual narratives and actionable insights.

  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating complex information to senior leadership.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Figma for UX/UI design, wireframing, visual design, prototyping, or presentation-related design work.

  • Strong experience with SharePoint for document management, content collaboration, file organization, and team workflows.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, including the development of polished, executive-ready presentations.

  • Experience with data visualization, visual storytelling, and information design.

  • Ability to combine data, strategy, and storytelling to communicate recommendations clearly and effectively.

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI and user-centered design principles.

  • Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into visual or design solutions.

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools is preferred.

  • Experience with data visualization or analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.

  • Ability to respond quickly to time-sensitive requests and meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Comfortable receiving, incorporating, and responding constructively to direct stakeholder feedback.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Must be able to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.

  • Must have flexibility to come in early or stay late when business needs require.

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UX/UI design, computer science, communications, or a related discipline preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of education.
